(Boston, MA) Wednesday, January 11th at 6 p.m. the Massachusetts Department of Transportation is hosting a public virtual workshop on the Northern Tier Passenger Rail Study. MassDOT is studying the costs and benefits of implementing a passenger rail service between North Adams and Boston.

At Wednesday’s meeting, research teams will be presenting two service plan options and the public will have an opportunity to provide feedback. The feedback will be used to formulate four more service plan options that will be presented at a later date.
