GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — At Wednesday’s City Council meeting, Mayor Ginny Desorgher discussed what she called the “hardest decision yet” in her tenure as Mayor, in the removal of the benches from the top of Miles Street.
The Mayor shared that multiple concerns were raised about the drug-related activities going on in that space and the impacts it was having on the public space.
Councilors weighed in on the decision and expressed interest in continuing the conversation at a Community Relations Committee meeting.
