(Greenfield, MA) The Mayor’s Task Force Against Domestic Violence will be using the remaining balance of their FY2021 budget to purchase and donate diapers to local agencies that support families who have been victims of domestic violence. Agencies such as New England Learning Center for Women in Transition, Montague Catholic Social Ministries, and the Community Action Family Center will be receiving the donations. The task force will be purchasing the diapers on June 23 from BJs.
“I want to thank the City’s Task Force Against Domestic Violence for this initiative and imagination. Coming out of a very difficult year, a year in which we saw victims isolated and very serious cases of domestic violence, it is important to do everything we can right now to support families in our community,” said Greenfield Mayor Roxann Wedegartner.
