(Massachusetts) At the start of the new year, the state minimum wage in Massachusetts will once again get a boost from $12.75 an hour to $13.50 an hour. According to Mass.gov, the new wage will take effect on January 1, 2021. Service rates will also increase from $4.95 per hour to $5.55 per hour. In the opposite direction, premium Sunday pay for retail workers will decrease from 1.3% to 1.2%.
