(Hadley, MA) — Authorities say the body of a man found in the Connecticut River in Hadley last week was a missing Sunderland man. Geoffrey “Randy” Arthur went missing in late March, a disappearance which triggered an exhaustive search along a stretch of the river near Route 47 in Sunderland. The Northwestern DA’s office confirms that Arthur’s body was discovered by a kayaker on May 26th. The cause of death is still being determined.
