MONTAGUE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Town of Montague will be holding a Special Town Election tomorrow, Wednesday, June 24th from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for a vote on the library project.
The Town is seeking approval to pay their share of the construction costs through a debt exclusion, amounting to $12.4 million, which may be offset by fundraising. To renovate the existing library, it would cost the town approximately $17 million.
