Staff Report
(Montague) The town of Montague recently asked Trinity Health of New England for a condition assessment of the Farren Care Center. That request was denied. In November, Trinity recommended that the building be demolished. Montague town officials and some residents have asked if there was any alternative to taking the building down. Trinity Health closed the long-term care facility last year after a merging with a long-term care operation in Holyoke. Trinity Health did provide some details of repairs that would be needed at the Montague City Road building which exceeded $10 million.
