(Montague, MA) — Montague residents next week will get their chance to comment on a recent public study of the town’s police department. Montague Selectmen have scheduled a public work for May 17th as part of their regular board meeting. Montague officials opened discussion on the study’s results, which were generated by a pair of citizen committee’s charged with examining the department’s operations in the wake of the George Floud case. Committee members have said the study largely revealed that Montague residents generally have a good feeling about how the police department operates, but there are some questions as to whether it is adequately funded.
