MONTAGUE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The newest member of the Montague Police force, K-9 Officer Larry, has been sworn in to service.
K-9 Artie had passed away this fall after a short battle with cancer. Larry was purchased from the same kennel in Pennsylvania that Artie came from.
Larry is being trained by Officer James Ruddock, who had handled Artie, and will be utilized on patrols, tracking, evidence recovery, and searches.
