MONTAGUE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Montague Center Water District was granted $100,000 to fund a pilot and feasibility study for PFAS, iron, and manganese removal from the public water system.

This was one of the 21 awards totaling $14.7 million awarded by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection to address PFAS and other contaminants in public water.

Greenfield Fire Department remembers 9/11 24 years later: “We will never forget”
