MONTAGUE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Montague residents have one final week of receiving unreliable trash collection through Republic Services until their contract is completed on June 30th. The town will be working with Casella Waste Systems for trash and recycling collection starting July 1st.
To accommodate route changes, Casella has advised residents to have their trash and recycling out by 7 am. Casella will also have an app available for residents that will send alerts when delays or changes in schedule occur, user guides, and other information.
