Montague Selectboard Votes To Increase Reserve Officer Pay Scale

(Montague, MA) The Montague Selectboard has voted to adjust the wage scale for reserve police officers, as Sergeant John Dempsey plans to retire from his current position and become a reserve officer, working part-time for the department in January. A retired officer who becomes a reserve officer can now make $32.35 an hour, an increase over the previous $25-28 range.
