(Montague, MA)  — Montague officials have set a date for what will be the first “virtual” town meeting in that community’s history. The Montague Selectboard has set Thursday February 25 as the date for the town’s winter special town meeting, which will be conducted using Zoom Webinar virtual technology. A practice meeting will be held the week prior, on February 18. Among the items expected to be discussed is the Turners Falls Airport Commission’s proposed purchase of the Pioneer Aviation property, which will also be the focus of a pair of virtual public information sessions on January 21st and 23rd. The deadline to submit articles for the town meeting warrant is January 20th.
