Montague To Consider New Marijuana Mitigation Committee

(Montague, MA) — Montague officials are looking to get the most use out of the money the town receives to mitigate the potential impacts of legal marijuana sales. The Montague Selectboard tonight will consider a proposal by member Matt Lord to establish a new committee to research potential cannabis impact fee programs. The committee, if adopted, would also recommend a series of guidelines for choosing such programs.
