MONTAGUE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — 2,846 Montague residents came out to the polls Wednesday to vote on the debt exclusion question to fund the construction of a new library and the majority voted yes. It was a fairly close vote with 1593 yes’s and 1248 no’s.
The election drove high voter turnout with 38.72% of registered voters participating, according to the Montague Town website.
