GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A one-year moratorium on data centers is being proposed to Greenfield City Council. The Planning Board advised to introduce the moratoriums an ordinance rather than a zoning amendment, which would be a more complex process. There are currently no data centers proposed for the city, however community members wish to take proactive, rather than reactive, measures.
