SHELBURNE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — UPDATE: The 72 year-old Charlemont motorcyclist that was injured in an accident with a pick-up truck on Route 2 this Tuesday has succumbed to his injuries. Reynold Famosi Jr. was pronounced dead at Baystate Franklin Medical Center. There have been no charges filed but the accident remains under investigation.

A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in an accident with a Ford F-250 pick-up truck on Route 2 in Shelburne Tuesday. The accident occurred just after 2 p.m. when the pick-up truck was allegedly turning left into Aubuchon Hardware when they collided with the motorcycle. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
