BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — MassDOT has extended their deadline for the third annual “Name a Snowplow” contest for students. Submissions will now be accepted through 5 p.m. on Friday, December 13th.
12 snowplows will receive names through this contest, celebrating the winter season and in recognition of the hard work and dedication of public works employees and contractors. Winning names will be announced Friday, December 20th and will be invited to an unveiling event.
