Nash’s Mill Road Reopened, Damage To Green River Park

(Greenfield, MA) Nash’s Mill Road in Greenfield reopened Wednesday afternoon after being closed since Friday due to flooding and freezing during the winter storm.

In a statement from the City of Greenfield, it was reported that the damage left behind at the Green River Swimming and Recreation Area from the flooding and freezing of the water is “considerable.” The building, beach, and parking lot were all impacted. The parking lot will remain closed for the winter, but cars will be allowed to park in the entrance.
