CONWAY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The new Conway Mall building has arrived.

The town’s swap shop, called the Conway Mall, has been in operation since 2005, providing a space where Conway residents can bring their donations and pick up donated goods from others.

The old building was in need of replacement, according to Conway’s Town Administrator Véronique Blanchard, and with a $6,000 MassDEP grant to supplement transfer station revenues, the town was able to upgrade the building.

The town is preparing a volunteer roster which will impact the building’s layout and hopes to have the new building in operation by early September, if not sooner.

The Conway Mall will be open during transfer station hours, dependent on volunteer availability.
