GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Greenfield resident Patricia Williams has been appointed to the Precinct 6 Councilor seat that was left vacant following Sheila Gilmour’s resignation.
Williams was sworn in and sat at her first City Council meeting Wednesday where the Council approved the Community Preservation Act Committee’s project funding for Fiscal Year 2026.
With elections coming up in November, Williams has already announced her intention to run for the Precinct 6 seat as her current appointment will end at the end of Gilmour’s term, December 31st, 2025.
