New nonprofit working to bring Native America land stewardship back to the area

GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Last night the Greenfield Conservation Commission heard from a new local nonprofit.

Shlomiya Lightfoot from the Indigenous Landscape Initiative shared how the organization is hoping to work with the Conservation Commission in their mission to involve communities in reviving Native American land stewardship practices to bring back resiliency, diversity, and abundance to the local lands.
