NEW SALEM, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) —  New Salem Town Coordinator Kathy Neal has retired as of January 17th. New Town Coordinator Jessica Mooring has taken over the role already, starting before Neal left for a smooth transition. Mooring is an Amherst resident with a master’s degree in regional planning from UMass Amherst and hopes to modernize New Salem’s town business.
