GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) –Greenfield Department of Public Works veteran Paul Newell has been named Deputy Director. Newell has been with the department since 1989.

“Paul has been extremely dedicated to the City of Greenfield for many years, always getting the job done,” said DPW Director Marlo Warner. “He’s earned a wealth of knowledge in all DPW divisions across his 30-plus years with the department.”

“Paul is a tireless worker who has developed a comprehensive understanding of DPW operations across his career,” said Mayor Virginia “Ginny” Desorgher. “His decades of experience will be a tremendous asset as our new deputy director.”

“I am honored to be named the DPW’s new deputy director,” said Newell. “I look forward to collaborating with the DPW leadership team and staff to tackle new projects that strengthen our city’s infrastructure.”
