Colrain River Deaths Remain Under Investigation, Foul Play Not Suspected

(Colrain, MA) — Colrain and State Police continue to investigate a weekend accident that killed two people. The Northwestern District Attorney’s Office says a Franklin County man and woman in their 30s were discovered by police in a Jeep that somehow ended up in the North River Saturday near Foundry Village Brook. The state medical examiner is determining the cause of death, but foul play is not suspected.
