No Greenfield Preliminary Election, Two Council Vacancies On Ballot

(Greenfield, MA) — There will NOT be a preliminary election in Greenfield this fall. The city clerk’s office says the lack of competitive races this year negates the need for preliminary balloting. There are also two open city council seats in need of candidates. No one returned papers to run for the Precinct 9 seat being vacated by Norman Hirschfeld and the At Large seat being vacated by Ashli Stempel-Rae.
