NORTHAMPTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — No threats were found inside Northampton High School after reports came in Monday morning of a shooter with an AR-15 in the school library.
Northampton Police responded and determined the reports to be a “swatting” incident, which is a criminal offense wherein false reports are made with the goal of inciting an emergency response.
