(undated)  — State and local officials next week will take the first step on a potentially long journey which many hope will end with the establishment of a new railroad line between North Adams and Boston. The first Working Group meeting of the Northern Tier Passenger Rail Study will be held on Thursday, December 16, from 1:30 to 3:00 PM. The meeting will be held virtually and is open to the public. At the meeting, the study team will review the role of the working group, provide a study overview, and engage in a discussion of long-term goals for that study.
