North Leverett Road bridge replacement in the works

MONTAGUE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — MassDOT is holding a virtual Design Public Hearing on Tuesday, February 24th at 7 p.m. for the replacement of the bridge carrying North Leverett Road over the Sawmill River in Montague.

The project includes a full bridge replacement, new abutments, and drainage improvements. The construction of the project will be built in phases so that no detours will be needed and cars and trucks can continue normal use of the road.
