NORTHAMPTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — There was one fatality in a Northampton fire Tuesday evening.
The report of the fire on Fort Hill Terrace came in just after 9:20 p.m. and crews received information that someone may be unable to escape the building.
When firefighters were eventually able to get inside, they found the deceased. Another resident had made it out safely.
