Northfield Fire To Purchase New Safety Equipment

(Northfield, MA) The Northfield Fire Department will be able to purchase new safety equipment thanks to an over $120,000 grant fromAssistance to Firefighters Program, a FEMA initiative. The department will be purchasing 21 self-contained breathing apparatuses, protecting crews from toxic gases and particulates, and two Rapid Intervention Team rescue packs.
