(Northfield, MA) A potential suicidal man was located by Northfield Police on Sunday, according to Massachusetts State Police representative David Procopio. A K-9 unit was enroute to assist the effort near Dickinson Street, but Northfield Police were able to make contact with the individual before arrival.
Also yesterday in Northfield a utility pole was damaged as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Maple Street. The road was temporarily closed from Main Street to East Street while Eversource replaced the pole.
