LEYDEN, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — According to the Leyden Center for Wildlife Rehabilitation, there has been a recent uptick in the number of juvenile opossums being brought into the Massachusetts rehab community.
Most of the animals are found underweight and lethargic in the open. Officials recommend contacting a nearby rehabber when a lethargic opossum is located.
