ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Orange Fire Chief James Young has been designated a “Chief Fire Officer” by the Commission on Professional Credentialing.
Young is now one of only 2,196 other Chief Fire Officers, worldwide.
This designation program is a voluntary process that recognizes individuals who demonstrate excellence in experience, education, professional development, professional contributions, association membership, community involvement, and technical competence.
