Orange Man Dies After Being Struck By Two Vehicles On Route 190

(Orange, MA) An Orange man is dead today after being hit by two separate vehicles on Route 190 in Sterling. Police believe the man, age 29, and another man from Gardner, age 28, lost control of their 2019 Subaru WRX. The vehicle, traveling in the Southbound lane initially, swerved into the Northbound lanes, becoming disabled with a flat tire. The two men moved the vehicle into the breakdown lane and exited. While on foot, the 29 year old Orange man was then struck by two vehicles. The preliminary vehicle fled the scene, while the second vehicle driven by a 37 year old Leominster women, remained on the scene. The victim was pronounced dead at Leominster Hospital. No other injuries were reported.
