Orange Receives Fire Equipment Grant, Debt Exclusion Unnecessary

(Orange, MA) — Residents in the town of Orange won’t have to use the property tax rolls to buy new fire department breathing equipment. The Orange Fire Department has announced that it has received a grant to fund the purchase of the new equipment, which was the focus of a recently-approved debt exclusion vote. A special town meeting to rescind that vote will be scheduled for later this year.
