(Orange, MA) — There is another scam being reported locally. Orange officials say they are aware of residents being contacted by phone asking for donations for the town’s fire department. The department says it does not and will not contact anyone on the phone or through the mail asking for donations, and is urging residents not to fall victim to the scam.
