(WESTMINSTER, MA) — The suspect in a shooting this morning in Orange is under arrest after a standoff with police. Massachusetts State Police say the man was taken into custody after a standoff with Westminster Police. The suspect had barricaded himself in a room at the Roadway Inn on East Main Street in Westminster. The standoff began late this morning, and the suspect was taken into custody at about 1:00 p.m.
Orange Police say one person suffered a leg injury in the shooting this morning on Lois Street. Police confirm the man arrested in Westminster is the suspect in the Orange shooting.
