ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Orange Town charter, voted in during a Special Town Meeting in January of this year, will take effect on July 1st.
As part of the new charter, a town manager role will be implemented in order to run day-to-day municipal government operations and improve efficiency. The Selectboard has met to discuss the job description.
