(Greenfield, MA) Greenfield is participating in International Opiod Awareness Day with an Overdose Awareness Vigil march from the Episcopal Church of Saints James and Andrew to the Town Common. Before the walk at 5:30, there will be a service at the Episcopal Church at 4 p.m. to remember those who have been lost to an overdose.

Federal Street from Church Street to Main Street will be closed today, Wednesday, August 31st from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m for the vigil. The intersection of Main Street, Federal Street, and Bank Row will remain open, but it will be affected as the marchers travel down to the Town Common and Court Square.
