(Charlemont, MA) Hawlemont parents are looking for a second chance at saving the elementary school after a vote to close passed by a majority on November 10 at the Select Board meeting. Children from the elementary school would attend other schools in the Mohawk Trail Regional School District. Parents are looking to join the Northern Berkshire School District instead of Mohawk A special meeting for parents and community members is being sought for early December.
