(Northfield, MA) — Pioneer Regional School District officials are hoping the third time is the charm this week when it comes to next year’s school budget. The Pioneer Regional School Committee meets Thursday night to take a third vote on a proposed budget for next year. The committee has rejected the budget twice previously, and had to re-do one vote because of an Open Meeting Law complaint from a February budget subcommittee meeting. Committee members have also been at odds primarily over spending limits and changes on certain budget line items.
