BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation has opened their public comment period for the Fiscal Year 2026-2030 plans for capital investment on infrastructure and transportation projects across the state, including $148 million for the West-East Rail.

Western Mass will have their own informational public meeting to be held virtually on June 3rd at 4 p.m.
