WARE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Police were searching for an armed suspect near the Quabbin Reservoir in Ware Tuesday and after a multi-town police chase, the suspect was arrested and brought into custody. The incident began in South Hadley with an investigation into a larceny and assault before a chase broke out on Route 9, then on foot near the reservoir.
