(Combined Sources) Police in Massachusetts have arrested a man they say claimed he had COVID-19 when he spit at a woman who wasn’t wearing a face mask on a walking trail. Ashburnham police told the Telegram & Gazette that the arrest was made Tuesday. His name was not made public. Police say two women who had been hiking the Midstate Trail on Nov. 15 paused to sit down on a bench at a popular spot where the Boston skyline is visible. Police say the man confronted them about their lack of masks then spit at them. The women recorded the incident. Police posted an image of the man on their Facebook page.
