GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Greenfield Police are looking for a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a convenience store. The incident occurred at about 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, when a man entered the Green Mart store on Conway Street, indicating he was armed. Police say this individual acted alone and took the cash drawer with an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect then fled on foot south on Conway Street, according to police.
Greenfield K-9 Officer “Niko” picked up a scent, and police searched an area off Woodard Road, but did not locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a slender-built male in his late teens or early 20s.
