(Combined Sources) The power is back on in a number of area communities after Wednesday night’s wind and rain storms. Areas hit especially hard were Orange and Athol where 1700 National Grid customers lost power for a good part of the day. Northfield and Montague also had a high percentage of Eversource customers without power early in the day on Thursday. Wind and rain brought down some trees and branches during the areas first significant rainfall in many weeks.
