GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Greenfield Fire Chief Robert Strahan came to the city council meeting to discuss the proposed change of direction on Davis Street, as suggested by a captain, to improve public safety for that area. The change could save firefighters critical time in accessing the buildings in the area, but the proposal is still in works with several committees and boards.
