(Erving, MA) Officials in Gill and Erving will see some results of their lobbying for safety barriers on the French King Bridge tonight. State Rep Susannah Whipps and state senator Jo Comerford will host a public session online this evening. They are looking for residents’ opinions on the proposed project to install safety barriers on the bridge to discourage suicide attempts. Earlier this year, officials in the towns connected by the French King Bridge were disappointed to not see the bridge project listed in the MASS DOT budget release. Tonight’s meeting is a ZOOM meeting and it will begin at 6PM.
