SPRINGFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — After six months of contract negotiations between the PVTA bus drivers’ union and the PVTA management group, the two parties have reached an agreement and a vote is set for today.
The lengthy negotiations had many passengers, who rely on PVTA for commutes to work and school, worried their primary form of transportation was in danger of a strike by the bus drivers.
